When those were made the square balers sold like hot cakes. I would bet people were trading in stationary balers left, & right! Jul 25, 2013 John Deere Waterloo Works recently changed from a 13-digit large tractor serial number to a 17-digit serial number. To better understand each position in the 17-digital serial number, the chart below lists the position number, use of that position and what the position means, specific to large tractors (7030 Series Large-Frame, 8R/8RT Series and 9030 Series Tractors).

John Deere 24t Baler Serial Number Lookup

Your John Deere model number can be located in one of several different locations depending on your equipment type. While the model number is usually printed in yellow letters on the outside of your equipment, it can also be found on the bottom of the product identification tag (marked in red in photo). The model number can also be found as part of the product identification number (marked in blue in photo), located near the top of the product identification tag. In some instances, the product identification number may be useful when searching for more specific model information.
