We are intrigued every year by the Golf Digest Equipment Hot List and which drivers win the Gold Medals. Then, various forums, and ourselves as well publish a list of the best drivers. Some are very independent and some are not. Doesn't matter. What our customers are looking for is what are the best driver and shaft combinations that we have fit so far in 2019. We believe that the shaft is the part of the club that has the most impact on distance, consistency and accuracy, so that is why we are including our shaft recommendations in this list.

The golfer then finds his score in the Callaway System chart (shown on Page 2), which tells the golfer how many of his 'worst scores' he gets to deduct. That deduction is made, and then a second adjustment - also shown on the chart - is applied and may involve subtracting or adding strokes. Callaway Epic Driver Adjustment Chart This is the easiest adjustment to understand: the ball will go towards the weight. If you move the weight toward the toe, the ball will be more inclined to fade or slice. If you move the weight toward the heel, the ball will be more likely to draw or hook. To prove just how much an adjustable driver can change your game, we collected new drivers from Callaway, Cobra, Nike, Ping and TaylorMade. Using the swing robot from Golf Laboratories Inc., we. Launch monitor data gathered at Club Champion confirmed my observations – the Callaway Epic Speed driver is super forgiving. Smash factors were consistently high in a tight range of 1.48 to 1.50. You can note from the chart above that my spin and launch were on the low side which greatly influenced my carry distance. The Epic MAX driver is available in 9°, 10.5°, and 12° standard lofts at 460 CC. Also available is the Epic MAX driver for women, in 10.5° and 12° lofts. The women’s version has lofts, swingweights, lengths, shafts and grips that are tailored to women to maximize their performance.
