As expected, Alien: Isolation is the next free game on the Epic Games Store. Epic's free Holiday Sale 2020 games list leaked last week, and it's all played out as accurate so far. Isolation takes inspiration from the first Alien film: unlike the creatures in the sequels, Isolation’s Xenomorph is an unstoppable force of nature. Featuring an impressive AI system (based on Left 4 Dead ’s Director AI,) the Xenomorph in Isolation will hunt the player relentlessly.

When she left Earth, Ellen Ripley promised her daughter Amanda she would return home for her 11th birthday. Amanda never saw her again.

The temptation for her to finally understand what happened is too much to resist.

When the crew arrive at Sevastopol, they find something is desperately wrong. It all seems to be connected to an unknown menace, stalking and killing deep in the shadows.

In order to uncover the truth about her mother, Amanda is forced to confront the same terrifying thing that separated them.
